Georgia Tech unveil Solar powered Audi-TT

The world solar challenge in Australia is about to get more sexy with the entry of a solar powered Audi TT courtesy of a team of students at Georgia Tech. The car has 2 separate battery packs one powering the car to a 70 mile range and the other pack powering brakes, windows & steering. EcoMove QBEAK goes for a test drive

The QBEAK by ECOmove goes for a test drive in this video. In size it is very similar a smart car. The design is a novel concept. It has a modular frame layout that will allow for multiple designs, a Hub-motor system (in wheel motor) and an energy module system that can accept up to 6 different modules. The body is made up of light weight recycled composite materials and even has electric sliding doors! The topless feature makes it sexy and appealing making us want it even more. Delta EV Coupe goes for a test drive

The Delta E4 gets a test drive by the Fully Charged show by Llewellyn and Nick Carpenter. The carbon fiber body E4 has an amazing 250 mile range per charge which is unheard of in today’s production ev’s. Tesla Sues BBC’s Top Gear

In some comical news Tesla is suing BBC’s Top Gear over an episode  called ‘the ultimate test for an electric car’ where a Tesla roadster was pitted against its nearest cousin the lotus elise. In the episode top gear shows the Tesla dramatically slowing down during a speed test and having to be pushed into the garage for charging. Tesla says these scenes were faked and were staged to damage Tesla’s reputation. Is big oil in bed with BBC? Watch Video read more
