Mercedes delivers its first F-Cell hydrodgen/electric car

Mercedes has delivered its first F-Cell hydrogen/electric powered car to customers in the socal area. Although its a low production run with only 200 vehicles its a big step forward for the gas-loving luxury car maker. This fuel cell / electric hybrid has a range of 240 miles using a 134 horsepower electric motor. If you’re one of the lucky few 200 buyers, you get to lease this new technology for $850/mo. Not cheap by any means but gas (or hydrogen fuel) is included and you’ll also be included in their research program.
