Japan to convert entire mail fleet

What do you do when you have 21,000 mail trucks bleeding money out of the wazoo because of high gas prices? Convert them to efficient EVs of course and thats exactly what Japan post is planning to do over the next eight years. To charge ‘em up quickly they’ll be installing fast chargers at roughly 1000 post offices which will also be available to the public. Look out big oil…here comes the post office! How come the U.S.P.S. isn’t doing something like this?
