Maglev train from L.A. to Las Vegas gets cash infusion
On Friday the Los Angeles to Las Vegas maglev train project got an approval from Bush and a 45 million dollar cash infusion. The train uses magnetic levitation technology to propel passengers up to 300 Mph so they can get to the slot machines in 2 hours flat. The 250 mile journey will start in Disneyland, Anaheim and end up in Las Vegas. The project has been in the planning phase for almost 20 years and this cash infusion is the largest to date.
