A hybrid kit for your car

Author admin    Category EV Hybrid Cars     Tags

When you look at this concept you think to yourself…’how come nobody has ever though of this before?’. Enter the Poulsen Hybrid Power Assist System (kit). It allows you to turn that old clunker that you love so dearly into a gas saving champ! How does it work? The kit consists of a 13.5hp motor, lead-acid batteries, on-board charger, torque bare and other miscellaneous parts to power your rear wheels making your front wheel drive rice burner into a 4-wheel drive vehicle. It doesn’t say exactly how much gas you’ll save but mentions the electric drive system is capable of providing 70-85% of normal driving. All in all the kit costs $3,300 and is an entrant in the Automotive X-prize. Expect to see people buying this kit in droves when gas hits $5 per gallon. Check out Poulsen Hybrid’s website to order yours today!
