Zap to build 3-Wheeled EV for 2009
Zap of Santa Rosa, CA who’s early cars are notoriously slow has a new EV in the works. This one is supposed to have a top speed of over 100Mph and a range of 150 miles! Last time I computed my weekly commute it comes to only 110 miles so this should work out just fine for you city commuters looking to save some petrol and have fun while doing it! Check out more details at CNET and you can always check out Zap World for details. 3-Wheeled vehicles typically have much better cornering capabilities so seeing this car in action will certainly be exciting to see.

Zap has been promising a high performance EV for years. They have made and failed to meet several production dates, taken plenty of investors’ money, and still no high performance EV. Zap is giving the EV a bad name. It’s bad enough that they have been promising 4-wheeled high performance EVs without ever going into production. They should have made good on that promise before making this one.
